NATIONAL WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME

WHAT
The National Women's Hall of Fame came to the Martin Group in 2018 for marketing support for a grant they were competing for. The grant would be used for major upgrades to their important but small museum. My team and I created a bunch of tactics to spread the word: VOTE

WHO
The target audience here was the entirety of WNY, which is like, a lot of people. It was an ambitious goal, but a necessary one since they were up against some big competition for the grant. While the NWHF preserves women's history and honor great women, they believe in education for all.

HOW
To organize and encourage the local community to vote for the hall, we employed several key tactics  to spread the word, meeting voters wherever they were. Social media posts for the campaign had higher engagement than the hall usually got, buttons and shirts were handed out at local events, and we also did a direct mail piece for the folks at home. We spread the message all over... so did it work? See below.

WHY
Sometimes in this business, it can be difficult to see the impact marketing and advertising can make. Often times you work to move the needle and solve a problem, but then have to wait and collect data to see if it all works. This was not one of those projects. Helping the National Women's Hall of Fame garner votes from the community was a huge success, and the organization won $150,000 for their renovations.
