BOTANI KRATOM

WHAT
When the client approached me, he was having an image issue. The product was very high quality, ethically sourced, and clean. But with no branding or packaging, customers weren't willing to pay.

WHO
Kratom is used among White, middle-aged Americans for symptoms of pain, anxiety, depression, and opioid withdrawal. This is a blue collar class of people, who appreciate high quality goods... especially if the goods look like they're high quality.

HOW
Using the client direction of "Make it tropical", I created a brand that was that reflected the high quality of the product. The clean design is eye-catching and bright, using color as an identifier between the three types of Kratom, and simplified iconic tropical palm trees. I used Adobe Illustrator for both the logo and the package mechanicals.

WHY
Current customers were pleased too see the new branding, affirming what they already knew about the quality of the product, and the brand saw a 200% increase of first time buyers.
